GOSSET WARD IN HONOUR OF STANLEY

Our beautiful boy, Stanley was born on 20th February 2024 and passed away unexpectedly at home on the 30th march 2024, we only had him home for two days before he passed. Five weeks of his life…and our lives were spent on Gosset ward in Northampton General Hospital. They were so kind and saved our Stanley on multiple occasions. Such amazingly wonderful people. 

They only have a few big chairs for mums to sit on with their tiny babies who have tubes and pipes coming off them.. these mums have just given birth and need a comfortable chair to sit with their precious tiny , poorly baby but they don’t have enough so have to be moved around the ward… on your feet lose your seat.

The nurses there hate that they don’t have enough chairs and we are trying to raise money to get more to make mums who are going through the toughest time of their life feel a bit more comfortable. Doing this in honour of our precious baby that should be with us now will give us such comfort as a family to be able to do something positive in his name.

we reached our original target and we are so touched by everyone’s generousity and kind words. It’s helped us so much to feel something positive has come from our beautiful boys passing. If we can raise as much as we possibly can for Gosset it would be so amazing!
