Goshen Valley Campsite Eagle Project

Hello!

My name is Drew Brannam, I am a Boy Scout of the Life rank in Troop 241, In Canton Georgia. In order to rank up to the highest possible rank in scouting, Eagle Scout, every scout plan, develop and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to any religious institution, school, or community. This is known as an Eagle Project.

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch is an organization located in Waleska, Georgia, dedicated to giving a good, healthy, memorable childhood to those orphaned or those with less fortunate home settings. One main focus of this organization is the importance of Mental Health. Studies show that experiencing the outdoors in different ways helps mental health greatly.

For my Eagle Project, I plan on building a functional, simple, campsite with a Fire Ring, Flagpole, Campsite Sign, Tent Area, and Hammock Post system all on a designated area on the Goshen Valley property.

This is where you come in. Nowadays things like lumber, concrete, and renting the tools required are expensive. So, this gofundme will be used to primarily fund the project. Any extra proceeds that may come from this project will be directly donated to the Goshen Valley Foundation.
