Vet bills/burial for our dog Jack
Donation protected
Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our dog Jack.
Jack came into my life in 2005. I was still in college, and recovering from a tough period of my life. He went everywhere with me, and helped with my healing. Three years later came Lola, his fluffy pekinguese sister.
If it wasn't for Jack I would never have Lola, or the healing I needed to meet my husband, and have my daughters.
Jack came into my life as my dog, and left as a family dog.
After he passed we still had some tough decisions to make: communal cremation, individual cremation, with or without viewing. I know, I know, it is a dog, and he is gone now - just let him go and keep the memories.
One thing about people whose lives have been changed, or even saved by their pets is that they will always have the memories (nobody needs to tell them, or remind them to do so). These memories are what make saying good SO HARD.
So, we decided to get a plot for Jack in a pet cemetery. Our decision came to be not because we wanted to be fancy, or are crazy dog lovers - we just want to do a last tribute to Jack, who meant so much to the existence of our family.
However, the vet bill + costs of burial will sum to a lot, and even though we are lucky enough to have some credit available on our credit card, any help we can get will be extremely helpful.
Thank you so much!
