Goldsby Family Flood and NICU Fund
Donation protected
Hello,
First of all, thank you for even reading this. I appreciate any time looking at our cause.
Our babies, Jack and Lincoln were born prematurely on November 4th, 2016. They were 2 months early.
Jack has made it home, but Lincoln is still in the hospital, and may not make it home for Christmas.
To top all of this off, we had a sewer back up that flooded our downstairs bathroom, bedroom, parts of our living room, and 3 closets. Since it was sewage water, it destroys everything that it touches.
We bought the house in May 2016, and found out our warranty will only cover the unclogging, which was $125, and our homeowners insurance does not cover sewage back ups.
All in all, we are down $10,000 in home repairs, and who knows how much in medical bills after a 3 day stay for Casey in Labor, 3 weeks for Jack in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and ongoing stay for Lincoln.
After reading this I hope that you check your insurance policy, as we found out that it is only $12 a month to get sewage damage coverage.
Thank you for reading, and if you would like to make a donation, our family will be eternally grateful.
The Goldsby Family.
