Team Erin - Beat the Cost of Cancer
Welcome to Team Erin!
We join Erin Bevan and her family with gratitude for all the people who have supported her momentum toward recovery from breast cancer. Erin has said every bit of support has meant so much to her and the kids. (See a link to Erin's personal updates below.)
About the Team Erin fundraiser:
To be honest, as much as we all love and adore Erin, it's too easy to lose track of the many weeks, days and hours of surgeries, travels to treatment, and difficult recovery stages that have been part of Erin's ongoing world. We come to you with significant transparency about managing the financial costs of illness in the USA.

About the goal:
We could not legitimately participate in an effort to BEAT THE COST OF CANCER on a "manageable" fundraising goal. It is now ten months along the journey managing the removing of cancer from the body. Erin is very pleased to have continued working in her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the CHP West Yellowstone clinic two to three days a week and keeping up with the long practice hours. However, after a difficult surgery recovery and being of more and more immunocompromised status during COVID19 times ... it is time for Erin to take a short-term leave of absence. Thus fundraising becomes all the more timely and relevant.
Prior to this news we planned to launch 8/1/2021 - so we're starting with our pre-leave goal.
We propose to you an update of our TEAM ERIN goal in stages:
AUGUST - Launch goal $500/week + build network teams (e.g. OHSU, PDX, Yellowstone, etc.)
FALL - Short term team goals
GIVING SEASON - Holiday group goal
