Hello,

Antonio "Tony", my husband of 21 years and Greatest Dad of All Time for our 16 year old daughter, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and miraculously achieved No Evidence of Disease two years ago. However, unfortunately, his cancer came back and was growing with vengeance. We were lucky enough to get the last slot available for a compassionate use drug called, "leronlimab" thanks to a dear friend of ours, Dr. Dalel Tartak (family to us). He is responding well to the drug with significant shrinkage but is suffering life debilitating symptoms that have caused him to become bedridden and requiring caretaker support. We are hoping the drug will take full effect in which his symptoms will stop, he can gain his strength, and he can get back to his same high energy, engaged, AAA personality.

Why we need help:

Due to all of the medical expenses, we are in need of financial support to cover the cost of caretaker services. I work full time and need someone to care from him from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. I finally found a caretaker, fortunately with nursing experience/credentials, who can assist us (difficult due to a national shortage of caretakers). The weekly cost would be $1,035 and we think he will need this type of support for at least four months. So we need your help raising at least $17,388 (approx. $16,560+ the 5% Go Fund Me processing fee).

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all cancer survivors and those simply trying to stay alive each day. This is a tough beast to beat but if anyone can do it, my husband Tony can. We hope this drug will end up proving out to be a cure for cancer or simply mitigate the cancer from growing to extend the duration of life for pancreatic cancer patients. For those of you who don't know him well, let me tell you about how remarkable of a man he is. As a father and husband, he has been a true partner and rock in life. Each year we've been together, our love has strengthened. Our daughter is fearless, thanks to the strong role model he has been. As he would always say, never take your loved ones for granted. As he does each day himself, he encourages others to give a thousand kisses to your loved ones and tell them how much you love them each day.

As a friend, Tonito (as his friends would call him) has the biggest heart a human being can have. He is known to be genuine, a giver, a champion of hearts with the strongest will one can only wish to possess. He would give his life without hesitation should one of his loved ones (friends and family) be in dire need of saving.

He has helped countless people rise up from poverty, helped those who were on the verge of conflicting self-harm, and inspired people to stop making excuses when the going gets tough. He will tell you like it is with pure honesty, no matter how hard it is to hear it because tough love is sometimes what people need to get through a rut and onto a better journey in life. Tony has had so many challenges and triumphs in his life that it is amazing he is still standing tall, confident and positive; inspiring others through his outrageous sense of humor to laugh at the crazy things that happen in life and enjoy the present. That is what he has done for me and so many others. You could say he is an earth angel, one that has been given challenge after challenge in life, risen above the pain and learned and grown from them, while giving selflessly of himself to help others do the same.
