Gloria Lee’s Fight Against Colon Cancer

Hello, I’m Elaiza, and I’m raising funds to help my mom, Gloria Lee Santos, in her ongoing battle with Stage 4 colon cancer.

She was diagnosed in September 2024, just a few weeks after her birthday. Despite the difficult news, my mom has taken everything with grace—she accepted her diagnosis with a calm and “go with the flow” spirit that continues to inspire us all.

Last October 2024, part of her colon was removed through surgery, and she’s been living with a colostomy bag since. She was hospitalized for nearly a month due to post-surgical complications. Currently, she is undergoing chemotherapy—she’s completed 6 out of her 12 sessions.

The journey has brought a lot of changes to our family. My dad has been adjusting to the new reality, my brother stopped working to care for our mom, and I’m doing my part supporting them from afar. We also started selling our house in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines to help with the medical expenses.

The funds from this campaign will go toward:

• Chemotherapy sessions

• Laboratory and ancillary tests

(like CT scans)

• And potentially another surgery to address metastasis in her liver

Through all of this, my mom has remained strong—even stronger than the rest of us. Her courage has carried our family through.
