TO BENEFIT GLADSTONE TROTT
Gladstone has been a local musician at the Jersey Shore for more then 45 years. He has played with numerous big bands, smaller groups, as well as single piano. Gladstone has worn many hats over the years, Organist and Choir Master at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church Asbury Park, Director Emeritus of the Downtown Glee Club New York City, as well as teaching in both a private and public sector. Most recently he has been playing with Wilbur Wittemann and The Lakewood Jazz Orchestra, The Manasquan River Golf Club , and The Breakers Hotel in Spring Lake.
Gladstone was stricken with colorectal cancer in November of 2011, he was treated and was in remission until May of 2015. Since that time he has been undergoing treatment of Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and CINJ at RWJ in New Brunswick. He has been hospitalized since Dec 2nd, 2016.
