Giving Tuesday - St. Joachim School

St. Joachim School is participating in Giving Tuesday 2018. Our fundraiser will last one week from November 27th through December 4th.

Twenty-five percent of money raised will be evenly distributed to our local St. Vincent DePaul Society and the Diocese of Oakland's. The remaining funds will help fund our new "pour in place" playground for our school and preschool. This separate project has a budget of $95,000 and we hope to complete it in the summer of 2019. This will improve and enhance our students experience during playtime, which is so important in an elementary school. A pour in place playground (see video here  ) will enhance health and safety and we are determined to make it happen! Check out the video to see what pour in place will look like!

The school has a long history of supporting both our church-based St. Vincent De Paul as well as at the diocesan level. Every year our students make hundreds of lunches, delivery an distribute them at the Oakland Dining Room of St. Vincent de Paul. It is what Christ calls us to do and what our baptism leads us to.Watch the video of St. Joachim School students at work , living their faith and reaching out to those less fortunate. The money we raise for this worthy cause will be used to help the hundreds of needy that live in our immediate area and many more beyond.

If you are a parent of a student, parent alum, alum or  a friend of St. Joachim School would you please consider donating, and just as importantly, sharing this Go Fund Me on your social media. There are many ways, beyond money, that you can help!

Please help us make this Giving Tuesday fundraiser a success!
