Dear Ala Costa Community,

Giving Tuesday is almost here, and we’re excited to share the two important goals your generosity will support this year. Every dollar donated will go directly toward making our programs safer, more inclusive, and more accessible for every individual we serve.

1. AED Machines for Our After School Program

Our After School Program is raising funds to purchase two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to be installed at our sites. These devices could save a life in a critical moment and will ensure our participants, and staff have access to fast, life-saving care if ever needed.

2. Meaningful Community Recreation for Adult Participants

After surveying our adult participants, they expressed to us that they want more opportunities for meaningful community-based recreation—activities that help them connect, explore, and most importantly have fun! Donations will support our commitment to making sure every participant can join in, regardless of their financial situation. Funds will support things like museum visits, movies, local events, art workshops, fitness classes, outdoor adventure and more.

All Giving Tuesday donations will go straight to these two participant-driven priorities. Your gift will truly make a direct and lasting impact.
