My name is Dominic, and I’m fundraising for my girlfriend’s dog, Ziggie. Over the past few months he has been struggling with recurring urinary issues after being fully potty trained for several months without any problems. We suspect it may be a urinary tract infection. I was able to take him to the vet for an initial check, but the next steps such as urinalysis, blood work, sample collection, additional tests, and medication were more than I could cover on my own.

The total cost for his full treatment plan is $850.

I know how difficult the economy has been and how many people are facing job loss or financial stress. I lost my job earlier this year, and so did my girlfriend. I also know that pets are often seen as a luxury, which makes asking for help a humbling step.

Ziggie is more than just a pet. He is my girlfriend’s emotional support animal and a source of comfort through difficult times. It is painful to see him uncomfortable when I know the right treatment could help. I am putting this fundraiser together as a favor for her, without her knowing, because I want to prioritize both her mental health and Ziggie’s well-being.
