Help Riley Walk Again

This is Riley — our beautiful, gentle, and endlessly loving 3-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix. She’s the kind of dog who greets everyone with a wagging tail, curls up next to you when you’re feeling low, and loves nothing more than chasing a ball in the yard. She’s our best friend, our family.

Recently, Riley was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease affecting her hind legs. Every day, it gets harder for her to stand, walk, and do the things she loves. Watching her struggle to take steps she once bounded through with joy has been heartbreaking. She still has that same spark in her eyes — she just needs help to keep moving.

There’s a treatment plan that could give her a second chance: a combination of laser therapy, physical therapy, and special injections. It’s our best hope to slow the disease, ease her pain, and help her walk and play again. The cost for the full course is $3,000 — more than we can manage on our own.
