Our beautiful friend Laura is in the fight of her life — and she needs our help to keep going.

What started as pneumonia in early August took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn when she contracted COVID just a few weeks later. Since then, Laura’s lungs have been unable to recover. She’s been on oxygen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, fighting just to take a full breath.

Now she’s back in the hospital, struggling to breathe on her own, and has received the devastating news that she needs a double lung transplant to survive. Without it, doctors estimate she has only 12 to 24 months left. ⏳

Laura is only in her 40s, with so much life still ahead of her. She’s a devoted wife and the loving mother of two amazing kids — Landon (17) and Addison (13) — who need their mom more than ever. Through every hospital stay and setback, her husband has been holding down the fort at home, trying to keep life as normal as possible for their kids while watching the woman he loves fight to stay alive. ❤️
