Give it a Shot! The McDaniel’s Last Chance at IVF

Hi y’all! My name is Loren McClendon, and I have finally talked one of my very best friends into letting me help her raise the funds for one last chance at IVF!

Jessica McDaniel, and her husband, Kevin McDaniel, are two of the best people I know. They are already incredible parents to Kevin’s two boys from his previous marriage, but they have longed for their own baby to complete their family. They have invested thousands so far in this journey, as well as endured more heartaches than I could possibly imagine. They deserve a chance for their rainbow baby!

I asked Jess to write down everything they’ve been through so far, and this is a brief background of their journey:

Jessica and Kevin were married in 2013 and suffered their first miscarriage in 2014. They tried natural conception the first two years and experienced several losses including an ectopic pregnancy.

They tried IUI and experienced another loss. They tried IVF with only one mosaic embryo to implant, and lost it. Then, they tried naturally again- ectopic. Both of Jessica’s tubes have now been removed, and after switching to a new doctor, it was discovered that she suffers from a blood clotting disorder. Her new doctor has put her on medication to correct this and believes it has been the primary reason for their losses from the beginning.

They are ready to give it one last shot before calling it quits!

Now….that’s where all of us come in! If you have any knowledge of medical costs and IVF, you know that they have spent a fortune so far—not to mention the physical and emotional toll they have had to bear. Jess has a family member that has been gracious enough to say that he will donate a generous amount, but I want to humbly ask each of you to help me help them as much as you can! Right now, if we can raise the money, Jess can start the transfer in July. Please, give whatever you are able to give. Prayers are coveted as well!
