Give Hope to Ronni and Decio's Family Dream

Hi, I’m Ashley and I’m starting this fund for the most incredible human I know, Ronni.

Here’s a little back story: Ronni and I have been best friends since we were 9 years old. We’ve gone through it all together: awkward teenage years, crushes on every boy, emotionally charged reactions, endless laughter (and tears), tragic downfalls (literally and figuratively), changing who we were to make someone else happy, being genuinely who we want to be and finding joy in that, small successes, becoming successful career people, big life-changing moments, engagements, marriages, and childbirth (on my side). Some would call us sisters; I would call us soulmates.

Through it all, Ronni has only ever wanted two things: a partner who makes her the best version of herself and doesn’t judge her for who she is (which she has found in Decio) and to be a mother.

The world had different plans. Ronni and Decio have been through years of IVF, countless rounds of transfers and retrievals, endless surgeries, overwhelming amounts of doctor’s appointments, and a traumatizing amount of shots with no success.

Seven years later, Ronni and Decio do not have a baby, and they have even fewer answers as to why the process never worked for them. But what they do have is the hope of adoption, finding a child in need of two amazing people who deserve to be parents more than anyone I can think of.

I ask you all to help Ronni and Decio to be able to afford this process. After the experience of IVF (which is not covered fully by most insurance coverage), they have found themselves in a position where they are unable to afford the process of adoption due to the substantial bills they have from IVF.

Let’s give these two the hope, life, and love they deserve.
