Give Bella a Fighting Chance: Donate for Surgery
Donación protegida
It never dawned on me that with all the tears I’ve shed, in wildlife rescue, as someone who helps lorganizations with making the most impact in the communities, helping neighbors and other platforms with their lost/found pets help to be reunited, countless donations and fund raising for adoption facilities, all animal advocacy because it’s what cures my soul – that one day this would be for one of mine.
A little over 9 years ago, we welcomed into our family another furry four-legged blessing. Our Bella had been through more than one could even fathom and want to know about in their first year of life. We made the decision because we knew without us, she would not stand a chance. Today we are hoping to give her back all the blessings love and gift of life she has given to us over the last 9 years.
Little over a month ago, we had to rush our girl into the Emergency Vet, that turned out to be something no one ever wants to hear. Today, after countless visits with Specialists and numerous tests, we’re left with the harsh reality of having to have her undergo surgery. Bella has a cancerous mass that has attached itself to her kidney and is growing, she will have to have her kidney removed. I've always heard others say how hard it is to make a decision on paying or even being able to pay for your pets emergencies and on some occasions it isn’t even feasible. Today we’re living through those exact circumstances. Something so scary, so difficult should never come down to “ if you can”….. it should only be about how you will. How you can stand by their side with undeniable courage and opportunity to give them their fighting chance.
We’re going to fight so hard for her. So much thought has gone into whether I would want to share this with others (outside of our family). It’s not easy to make yourself so vulnerable that you’d be willing to pour your emotions into a few short lines of a paragraph and let people in. But there is really nothing I wouldn’t do for her. If you are reading this, first let me thank you for taking the time to do so. I ask that you please keep her in your thoughts and send her a little loving prayer. She’s a Fierce Mush. Second, we’re asking for help in raising the funds it’ll take us to help her not only have this surgery, but ultimately with God’s blessing, be happy and healthy again.
Shes the very bestest, Best Friend a girl could ever ask for, a protector ( our protector). She’s got the best “nub” wags, her tail was already cropped when we took her in and when she knows its time for her walks, that nub just won’t quit! What’s even more amazing to watch is her excitement when momma comes home from an errand run with a new” Mr. Squeaky” toy that she can toss around, fling in the air or keep the kitties from stealing. You’ve got to see how she loves the sunshine, any sneak outside for a chicken run and she’s all sprawled on that green grass soaking up the rays, the compassion she shows to her sibling Meow Meow’s, her joy to sniff Gerald ( The Tortoise) who follows her around the yard like she were his girlfriend. She’s one of a kind. To some she may look like a fierce giant but to us, she’s just our Little Brown Bear!
Please know, our hopes are for any small donation, there is no amount that would not mean the world!
From our family to yours, we are forever thankful not only for any contributions but for your time and prayers.
Heartbroken, but there is nothing I won’t do to show my Brown Bear just how loved she is.
