In support of Ava and Aaron — and in loving memory of Phillip Wall
He was the life of the party. The cheerful, life-saving public servant. The trusted friend who would drop everything to help someone else in need. And above all else, Phillip Wall was an incredible father.
Tragically, Phil took his own life on Nov. 1, leaving behind his two beautiful, brave children — Ava, 13, and Aaron, 12 — along with his best friend/co-parent Tami.
We loved Phil because he was so giving — so generous with his love, his smiles, and his willingness to help others in crisis. But the one person he couldn’t help was himself. And in taking his own life, he’s altered the course of many other lives. The community of family, friends, and neighbors is strong — and the love and emotional support the family is receiving, as they grieve, has been tremendous.
But there is also the reality of finances to consider. Without Phil’s income, the family’s life will be impacted. This is one way our extended community can help.
Funds from this GoFundMe campaign, endorsed by the family, will be used in the following ways:
- Ongoing medical and orthodontics costs
- Unexpected expenses (e.g. home or car repairs)
- College education costs
Anything you can give to support Ava and Aaron — and in memory of a man who gave so much love to us — is very much appreciated.
For those who would like to attend, Phil's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 12 PM at Evergreen Elementary School multi-purpose room in Rohnert Park. Carpooling is encouraged.
