Girls on the Run Loch Lomond Elem.

Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident.

This is our first season with a Girls on the Run team at Loch Lomond Elementary.  We have 26 girls in grades three through five who practice two times a week for ten weeks, learning how to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit.

Loch Lomond is a Title I school, which means that we have a significant percentage of students who are economically disadvantaged.  Because I knew the cost would be prohibitive to many of our families, I arranged it so that our girls would not have to pay the registration fee when they were signing up for the team.  All girls deserve the opportunity to take part.

The registration fee ranges from $22 to $175 (based on financial status).  We need funds to help cover this cost for all 26 girls.  The registration fee covers many expenses, including the girls’ entry into the end-of-season 5k.  For a detailed look at what the registration fee pays for, see here:[phone redacted]_v3.pdf

We need the funds by April 5, 2018.  Thank you so much for considering donating to this cause!
