Girls Gone Fishing: Empowering Girls Through the Joy of Fishing

Girls Gone Fishing is a community-driven group dedicated to making the sport of fishing more accessible to girls ages 13 and up. In a sport traditionally dominated by men, we are passionate about creating opportunities for girls of all ages and backgrounds to experience the many mental health benefits and life-long skills that fishing can offer.

Our mission is to break down the barriers that often prevent girls, especially those from low-income and minority backgrounds, from accessing this empowering outdoor activity. Through your generous donations, we aim to provide fishing gear, equipment rentals, bait, and fishing trips to ensure that every girl, regardless of her financial situation, can participate and thrive.

Fishing teaches patience, resilience, and a love for nature, all while offering a calm space for mental wellness. By supporting our cause, you’re not only helping these young women develop valuable skills but also promoting inclusivity and mental health awareness within a traditionally male-dominated sport.
