For contributions of $70 (cost of one bicycle) donor's name will be placed on bicycle, but any small donation makes a huge difference in achieving the projects goal.
Chakravarthy Kotaru and I are personally raising funds to provide cycles to 26 girl children in rural Telangana, to curtail drop outs due to difficult commute or no commute at all.
Mission: Provide cycles to all the girls belonging to ZPHS Gottigakurd, Basheerabad Mandal, Vikarabad District, as a pilot project. This helps in curtailing "drop outs of girls" coming from surrounding 8 villages.
The school management will act as custodian of cycles and 'year after year' they will be given for use, for the next batch of children.
As part of the total requirement of 154 cycles i.e $10780, I have taken up a personal challenge of collecting funds for 26 cyles which is $2000 ( $1820+ gofundme charger)
