Gin's battle with Cancer fundraiser

In December of 2021 my dear friend Gin received the sad news that the cancer she had fought and beaten 4 years ago , had returned.

Gin (Gintare) Pliuskute is a Personal trainer at Summer Hill Gym, but she is not just a trainer. She is part of a Summer Hill community. She is one of the most giving persons I know. Only last year when one of her clients had a young son that was very ill, Gin worked tirelessly to prepare meals for the family, ran a large fundraising event to raise much needed funds to support her client and friend in any way she could.

Gin is a single mother to 13 year old Rojus , who has autism, and her family all live in her native Lithuania. She needs our help.

My personal journey with Gin began almost 4 years ago, when we met through a mutual friend. She was just recovering from her battle with cancer, and at the time was wanting to start a new career in the fitness industry. I was lucky to be part of that journey and I was delighted when she came to join our Summer Hill Gym family.

Gin is dedicated to every client and has an unparalleled desire to help and improve every clients wellbeing. She is a vibrant, strong , compassionate, caring, soulful woman and adored by the community.

this difficult time in her life and raise funds to help with medical expenses and travel costs, as she will be travelling abroad to receive treatment.
