Help Ginger Fight Mammary Cancer

Donation protected
This is for Ginger, love of my life. I held her in my palm as a kitten and she's been with me through thick and thin. Ginger is an amazing friend who's gotten me through the worst parts of my life, as well as a feisty loving baby who likes to lounge on my desk and purr on my chest at night.

While petting her belly, I noticed a narrow firmness which I soon discovered was a mass/lump by one of her lower nipples. She had surgery to remove the mass and biopsy confirmed it to be a Grade 2 Mammary Tumor (breast cancer). They got clear margins and no signs of spread but mammary cancer in cats has a high recurrence rate without further treatment and likes to attack more than one breast (and I recently discovered a new lump..). It's also deadly if the cells get a chance to spread. Ginger will need further treatment to ensure she is free of tumors and lives a good quality of life for as long as possible.

I'm also really struggling to save up after all of the previous vet bills. Here is a link showing receipts for appointments thus far. I am so grateful for the help I received from those who donated before! You guys are real life-savers and helped make it possible for Ginger's primary tumor to be removed before it could spread!

Any amount is so helpful, thank you so so much!!

*Sharing this wherever possible is also really appreciated! ;~;

* My art commissions are also open!

UPDATE: 3/6/2024
Ginger had her first vet visit for her mass today. They took blood, updated her vaccines, and used a needle to take samples of the mass to be sent to a pathologist and mentioned the location of the mass is concerning due its closeness to her mammary glands.

Will receive test results and advisement on next steps within the next week. Just this past vet visit cost $596. Thank you so much to those who have donated thus far!! You helped so so much with today and I appreciate your kindness more than I can say!!

Here is Ginger after enjoying some tuna following her Wednesday vet visit!

UPDATE: 3/13/2024
Cytology results came...they are worried it's indeed a mammary tumor and they said they saw cells with cancerous characteristics. I'm so terrified for Ginger and scheduled a consultation for surgery on Monday. Surgery and biopsy will hopefully be a few days following that. Cost estimates to come. To those who've donated; I cannot thank you enough, you are incredible and words cannot express how grateful I am

UPDATE: 3/20/2024
Ginger had her consultation appointment this past Monday ($392). Tomorrow, she is having surgery to remove the mass to be submitted for biopsy (estimate: $977.42). Feeling really anxious but thank you so so much again to everyone who has been helping; I appreciate it more than I can ever say!

UPDATE: 3/21/2024
Ginger had surgery today to remove her mammary mass. Things went well! Biopsy results & next steps within the next couple weeks; still so nervous but trying to keep it together.
