Ghost Net and Marine Debris Film
Donation protected
Vanguard Diving & Exploration (VDEx) is raising funds to survey and remove abandoned "ghost" nets from Canadian waters, and share the stories of common citizens working together to help protect the health of our coastal ecosystems.
We are combining the benefits of experienced professional divers with underwater exploration robots from our friends at OpenROV to safely remove ghost nets without causing additional environmental harm.
We are using the latest filming technologies and equipment advances to create an in-depth audience experience that transports you beneath the waves to see for yourself how marine debris is impacting our planet.
So travel with us into the rainforested fjords along the west coast of British Columbia's Vancouver Island to understand what is happening in the world's oceans, and meet the people doing their part to reduce the damage.
