Team Lani

Lani Amdur was diagnosed with neuro-sarcoma in his lungs this past July. The rapidly growing cancer was labeled as stage 4 and takes up 85-90% of his left lung. Lani began chemotherapy in September and is currently on course 2 of 4; each course of chemo lasting 3 weeks. Lani, Skyler and their beautiful girls have struggled as to whether to share this publicly for some time, but he needs all the love & support he can get right now, so we are humbly asking for your help. He is severely underweight & can hardly tolerate activity. Lani keeps his spirits up by cheering on the Boston Red Sox in the World Series and by taking pride in is 1972 super beetle (The Chalkboard Bug). He spends most evenings quietly at home with Greenlee (7) & Zephee (4), although they want him to play and be active, they know he is not feeling well.  Please help us raise money for their many expenses that are mounting up.
His employee is very understanding and supportive, however he is on unpaid leave for the foreseeable future. They pay his portion of the medical insurance however the girls' insurance is not paid for.
We are currently going in for chemotherapy treatments which are covered, but the pet scan and alternative medicine 3 times/week are not covered.  Additionally there is a possibility of immunotherapy and we are not sure of the costs. Your donations mean so much to him and the family ~
