Getting Riley home

Riley's Medical Journey:

After 7 months in the NICU Riley has finally made it home! It's been busy for Alex, Danielle, and the girls adjusting to a new schedule. It's a bit overwhelming with an ICU in the living room and staying on top of feeds and medicines around the clock. Riley still has several appointments throughout the months, between Watkinsville and Augusta a couple times a month. Alex had already used all of his vacation days for the training to get Riley home and settled in. Danielle still has not been able to return to work until home nursing is established. They just put down $5,000 in repairs on their cars from the first 7 months driving to and from Augusta. We can help with small things like a dinner or a tank of gas to get them through these juggling times.

Danielle and Alex are about to begin the journey to get Riley home from the NICU. With him requiring a Trache they have to go through training to properly care for him. This requires time off work for Alex, Danielle hasn't been able to work since Riley made his entrance into this world. We are trying to raise money to help lighten the blow for bills. Last time we did a GFM for the Crew/Smith family, yall showed out and it helped greatly and was so appreciated.
