Get Tara to Cannes Film Festival!

Hi! My name is Tara Olayeye, I'm an independent filmmaker and I am raising money to fund my trip to Cannes Film Festival! In Spring of 2017, I produced a short film called 'Petals' (alongside some of my close film friends) which won a Jury Award and Silver Tripod award at Campus Movie Fest 2017 (CMF). Our film was later nominated for a National Golden Tripod Award at Campus Movie Fest and was also screened in Virgin Airline flights from July - August 2017. Now,  because of 'Petals', I have been invited to be a part of the CMF Cannes  2018 Program to represent the film! Which is so exciting! This is truly such an incredible opportunity and it would mean the world to me if you decided to help fund my trip.  Filmmaking is something that I love dearly and by going on this trip I would be able to learn so much more about the film industry and gain a better understanding of filmmaking.

The funds will be used to cover the Program fees which includes:

housing, daily shuttles: $1610

internet/phone plan (CellHire): $350

Cannes accreditation and Marché screening
(Festival du Cannes): $580

Program Administration: $460

Total: $3000

The funds will also go towards my flight ticket which will cost around $1500! My goal is to raise $3000 by February 16th because that is when the Program fee is due and get the remaining $1500 by March.
