Help Bernard with Medical Expenses

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help our beloved friend, Bernard Aleman, with the mounting medical bills he's incurring while still in the ICU. 

Can you please help by giving just $5? 

Bernard, Bernardo, Bernachito, Bernie, Uncle Beanie or simply Bern was hospitalized on February 27th with a severe case of pancreatitis. He has been medically sedated for over two weeks while numerous nurses and specialists work to stablize him and determine the best treatment plan for his recovery.  

We know his recovery will take a LONG time and will be VERY expensive. His transport to a Level 1 trauma hospital via CareFlight will be in the THOUSANDS alone!

Bernard has never met a stranger, making instant friends wherever he goes. Those who know him will say he is generous and caring and just a wonderful and happy human being. He often puts others needs before his own and will drop whatever he's doing if he senses a friend in distress.

His giving and compassionate heart never falters. When his elderly mother became ill, he dropped his graduate courses at The University of North Texas so he could care for her on a full time basis. He has done this three times before her death last year at the age of 91.

Bernard is still in ICU and his recovery will be very slow. We ask for prayers and positive vibes for our friend.
