EDIT: 9/11/2025 4pm

unfortunately porky took a turn at home today and has ended up back at the vets, they don’t know what’s wrong or why she can’t eat or drink. She’s got to stay in over night.

EDITED: After speaking to the vet this morning Porky made it through surgery, she had a thin twine stuck at the back of her tongue down to her intestine. I’ve lowered the goal because the bill is £1000 cheaper than expected. Thankyou for all your support I’m incredibly grateful.

This is porky, she’s 9 months old, she’s part of our very loud and full family. She’s the best friend of an autistic 7 year old and I made a huge mistake. I didn’t add her to the insurance of our other cats. And we found this out this week when she’s eaten something really yummy like string… or a Halloween decoration and now needs surgery and I haven’t got enough money. The vet said we need to have £5000 I have £1000. I’ve got 24 hours (she hasn’t eaten for 4 days) to try and get the rest together. she’s been to the vets 3 times this week, had two lots of meds, fluids, and bloods taken.

This is my final attempt to get her home.
