Aspiring to be a professional footballer, my name is Ifeanyi Ukobasi, a teenage striker born in Aba and currently playing at New Generation Football Academy Umuahia Abia State Nigeria. Being offered the full season (year) program contract at the MSM Football Academy Prague to hone my training to global football standard, subsequently launching into the world of professional football in Europe, and optional access to attend tuition free university in the Czech Republic after the academy as by far been one of the best things that have happened to me since beginning chasing my dream of football from 5years old. 

My hope is that my long rough journey of getting here will inspire other kids and teens to dream and reach for their desires irrespective of whatever circumstance and I can't wait to look back someday from the stage of a champions league final and lend a hand of guidance to another teenage talent.

Sadly, I do not have the resources to finance this opportunity. My family is supporting me with 1000 Euros but I still need 12,000Euros (This is inclusive of football academy fee, tuition for university preparatory courses, and living cost). Unfortunately there are not many scholarship opportunities for a soccer-educational program like this, and I have run out of options of raising funds, and still not anywhere near the amount needed.

I have a deadline of May 31st to raise funds to make payment, accept my offer to start documentation and visa processing, and I do not wish to postpone this offer as my best time to go far in football is now as a teenager, which implies that my inability to raise the funds will mean losing this one in a lifetime opportunity of a better chance at professional football.

I know that it is a very tough time right now all over the world to seek assistance, considering the pandemic and other economic challenges. Any amount donated is appreciated as the tiny drops of water will eventually make the ocean.
