Gerry McGuire Accident Fund

I am starting this fund for my sister, Belinda McGuire, and brother-in-law, Gerry McGuire of Highland, WI. On Friday September 1, Gerry was injured in a farm accident and was med-flighted to St. Mary's Hospital in Madison where he remains in ICU. He has a piece of metal in his chest that will remain (to remove may cause more damage) and he is having issues with what we hope will be temporary paralysis in his arms and one leg. Although we continue to pray for a full recovery, we know this recovery will likely be a long and slow process.

In addition to this, Belinda has been suffering with vertigo and had to retire a week ago. Now, dealing with her own health issues, she must focus on supporting and motivating Gerry to get better. With the support of family and friends, she is traveling back and forth to the hospital daily.

Gerry and Belinda have operated a dairy farm (now beef farm) in Highland for over 40 years. Their boys, Chris, Ryan and Tim are helping out there, but with mounting bills and other expenses to come, I am hoping that the community will help support this amazing couple.
