Memorial
With the help of Archbishop Ryan High School, they have given me permission to have a stained glass window in the chapel dedicated to George. There, his memory will live on forever. The window will have George's name on it and also a picture of a Saint. I chose St. George to be on the window. This is because the day of his passing, April 23, is St. George's feast day. The money raised in this campaign I will withdraw to go towards the purchase of the window. All money that is left over I will give to George's father to help pay for a scholarship to Archbishop Ryan High School in honor of George.

About George
Georgie was a beacon of light his whole life. Everywhere he would go, he would spread laughter and joy to everyone in his presence. He knew how to cheer anyone up no matter how down they were feeling. He was a special kid, and everyone that knew him would agree that he was a very positive and memorable part of their lives. George was a three sport athlete playing soccer, football, and baseball during his time at Ryan. Recently, he committed to Chestnut Hill College to play football. He had a bright future ahead of him. He loved his friends and family so deeply, and was such a caring person. Georgie tragically passed away due to viral meningitis on April 23, 2020 at the age of 18. He will continue to live on in memories, stories, and in our hearts forever. We love you Georgie.

Personal Memories
There is so many stories I can tell about Georgie. He was a huge part of my life and a part of my family. I met Georgie in first grade. We would hang out and always have fun together. We got very close when his mother passed away. I remember going to his house that night and just getting through it together. From that point on, we were inseparable. We used to drive Georgie to and from school every day. Every day after school, he would come over. We would lay on the trampoline listening to music for hours or hang in my room watching tv or playing Xbox. I remember so many times when I would be laying in my bed and hear him yell "I GOT BUNIONS." He would quote that scene from Grown Ups 2 countless times, even pulling the clip up on YouTube, bringing hours of laughter. We did everything together. Another thing that we would do together is go down the shore. His uncle had a house in Avalon that he would let us stay at. I only went a few times with George and his dad, but I will never forget the amount of fun we had down there. On the way down, me and Georgie were in the back seat listening to Am I Wrong on repeat. We would go out in the bay, getting attacked by flies. We were trying so hard to go back to the dock, but we were in the middle of the lake. Georgie taught me how to crab for the first time. We had traps and hand lines. We sat there for hours trying to catch dinner. He explained to me how the size of the crab matters and how you keep them fresh. That day was the first day I ever ate crab. Mr. Karusky ordered us seafood, and we cooked all of the crabs that we caught that day. I tried many new things with them two, and I am so grateful that I was taken on the trip with them. This was just the beginning to a tradition, I guess you could call it. After school sometimes and also after some of our baseball games, Mr. Karusky would take us to Chickies and Petes. I would sit there with them both, eating the same Snow Crab Legs that we would eat every time. George would be cracking jokes the whole time like the funny, nice kid that he always was. Me and Georgie were food enthusiasts, always eating something. We would sit at his house after school with his dog "Cooper the pooper scooper" as he nicknamed him, waiting for his dad to brings home Calamari and creme brûlée. Georgie and I loved this. He would constantly check his phone waiting for his dad to come home with it. Another couple snacks we lived on were Nutella and apples and also nachos and shredded cheese. My mom cut us up apples and gave us Nutella on the side. He'd always get the Nutella everywhere being goofy. However, nachos and cheese were our go to. He would get a plate, fill it with nachos, then grab the bag of shredded cheese and dump it on top. He would always open the microwave with one second left to make me mad. It just always annoyed me when there was time left on the microwave. He'd sit there cracking up waiting for me to notice. Then there was always that special laugh. That laugh that lit up the room. It is just unforgettable.  We knew we had to stick together forever. That is a reason we both chose to go to Archbishop Ryan for high school. I remember the first day of school, walking through the field with Georgie, Mike, and Anthony. Me and George always had our first day of school together. He was a part of our family and forever will be. We didn't have classes together in high school, but we still saw each other everyday. Every morning I would walk in, rushing to get to homeroom because I walked in last minute every day. I'd pass his locker and every single day there was a "yo bro beans" or "hey buddy" coming from him. I looked forward to that every single morning. Georgie was my fishing partner. A few years ago, we got our fishing stuff, went in the woods near his house, and just kept walking. We walked in the water upstream every day. When we got to our spot, we stood in the water, firing for hours. Although the fish weren't big, it was the best feeling catching them. Our go to bait was hot dogs and corn. Georgie really knew how to persuade me if he ever wanted to. It was with candy. He would text me at night asking me for a ride to Sam's in exchange for a trip to Wawa to buy me candy. He knew I'd never decline this offer, no matter how late or what I was doing. Me and George had plans for after quarantine. We made plans for him to come over for dinner. We agreed that once this clears up, it'll happen. I just wish I could tell him how much he meant to me just one more time. Me and George were inseparable, brothers as we called it. We knew we had a bond that was never going to be broken. He was a part of our family, and there will forever be a hole that can never be filled. We will miss him, and I really hope that he gets the memorial that he deserves. I love you bro beans. Until we meet again.
