On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Fort Lee Baseball, our community, and the Iino family lost a great coach, friend, and father. Coach George passed away suddenly leaving behind his wife, Akiko, and his three children, Paige, Kate and James.

Coach George was a beacon of love, strength, and kindness. From coaching Little League Baseball to serving as a Board Member for both baseball and basketball, his legacy of service and leadership and his passion for youth sports and mentorship was known by all. Coach George’s love of baseball ran deep. He dedicated so much of his time developing players of all ages. He strived for greatness and perfection and instilled that in every team he coached.

Coach George selflessly gave so much of his time to others, so please join us in showing support of his family. We are raising money to assist with funeral costs, upcoming college expenses and other financial needs that the family is facing during this difficult time. All donation amounts are appreciated.

A viewing and Memorial Service will take place on Friday, April 5th. Details are below:
