Genesis Barrondo Medical Expenses

Dear family, friends, and well-wishers of the Barrondo family, thank you for your loving support and prayers over the past two weeks. Our family was devastated by the mysterious  disappearance of our beloved daughter and sister, Genesis Rachel, who we couldn't locate after she left work and joined colleagues for dinner on May 14, 2021. What followed was our worst nightmare of trying to find her, searching every approximate route she may have taken, driven and walked extensively while handing out fliers, coordinating with police and Equusearch, and doing everything to locate her. With your help, and that of the local news stations. 

After an agonizing week of sleepless nights and endless terror, we were informed that a young woman was admitted to a local hospital in a coma, possibly with brain injuries, and an almost unrecognizable bruised and swollen face. We rushed to find out more, and our mother identified Genesis. It was traumatic and horrifying to see Genesis on a ventilator, and in a coma. The relief of finding Genesis alive is a blessing from God. We have been advised that she will need multiple surgeries, and advanced therapy, both physical and psychological, at a rehabilitation center. Thus far, we do not have the details of what our treasured Genesis endured that wet and miserable night when she was abandoned and hit by a truck. 

What we do know is that we will be there to help her on the challenging road to recovery.
