Heart 2 Heart 4 Jordan
Donation protected
Jordan Dobson is a quiet, soft spoken 15 year old Rio Mesa sophomore who has suffered his share of tragedy.
In 2003, both his mom and his brother Matthew struggled with different forms of cancer. His mom, Nana was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma and succumbed to the disease in 2005. His little brother, Matthew who was 4 at the time was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma and is currently in remission.
On Monday, September 15th, Jordan suffered a seizure during his cross country practice and was air lifted to Children’s Hospital after discovery of a brain tumor. After spending 9 days in the hospital enduring numerous tests, scans and finally a biopsy, he was diagnosed with anaplstic astrocytoma, which is a rare malignant brain tumor.
This is a family stricken not only once, not twice but three times by cancer. Jordan’s dad, Joe has sacrificed everything for his boys since the loss of his wife Nana in 2005. Learning of Jordan’s diagnosis has been devastating but they remain optimistic.
Everyone has been asking how they can help. They need your prayers but they also need help financially. Please help. Click the link to make a donation directly or by mail.
