Gallbladder Surgery and diabetic treatment.

Hello and thank you for reading my story,

My name is Kara Hansen. I need to have surgery to remove my Gallbladder that from what my doctor's say never worked it is causing me pain and massive discomfort, i am unable to eat properly and have lost a ton of weight . The surgery and medications I have been given to just allow me to eat are not affordable. With just a liquid form of Carafate ( a medication for my stomach ) costing over $600. I lost my insurance once my doctor placed me on a very restrictive work schedule and as a result have lost my job.

I am unable to get ssi/ssd or any other type of help i have been denied for ssi/ssd twice now even after having a lawyer because they didn't take all my illnesses into account.

I have been working to get the surgery done on my own, alongside my loving husband. I have lost just over 100 pounds since this issue came to light 1 1/2 years ago.

I am also diabetic and the Gallbladder being the way it is, makes it extremely hard to control my blood sugar. Current A1C levels are at 13 which is very close to maxed. It needs to be under control. However the insulin that has been prescribed is also very expensive.

The surgery is estimated to be between 6 and 25 thousand dollars if there are complications it maybe more.
I am only 36 and do not want to lose my life , i have tried every charity, program , help i could think of.
If you could run this story or at least spotlight it somehow it would be a life saving opportunity that i would gladly accept!
