Gabriel Palanca's Funeral Fund

We have tragically lost a devoted and selfless son, brother, uncle, nurse, and friend. It is no secret how loved Gabriel was by anyone he knew. He was someone that you only met once in a lifetime, one with the purest heart and intentions. Gabriel had an indescribable aura and anyone could feel it when he walked into the room. He was a rock and voice of reason for so many, always going above and beyond. As a dedicated nurse, he gave incomparable undivided attention to each one of his patients, and that was also reflected in the way he cared for those he loved.

The way Gabriel left us was unexpected and heartbreakingly abrupt. We have not prepared for the expenses that are ahead of us. Along with flying family members into Houston and hospital costs, to allow us to get the proper closure of viewing him, this will also result in more expenses. We are humbly asking for your generosity to help us all be able to say goodbye to Gabriel the way he deserves. Unfortunately, the amount we are able to raise determines the amount of time we are able to spend with Gabriel. With the time sensitivity of the situation as well as hospital protocols, we, his family, have been unable to privately see him in the hospital. We are all saying goodbye to Gabriel for the first time together. There is nothing that will ever heal this wound, but being able to have a significant amount of time with him may help ease our pain.
