In Ukraine, young athletes are growing up under the constant weight of war. Bomb attacks, air raid alarms, and uncertainty shape everyday life. For many of them, even a short period of peace, focus, and normality has become something precious.
We want to bring 6 young Ukrainian fencers and 1 coach to Fencing Lifestyle Camp 2026 in Germany.
This is not only about training.
It is about giving them a chance to leave the pressure of daily life behind for a few days and focus only on fencing, recovery, and hope.
A very special part of this project is the opportunity to train with Oleg Matseichuk, one of the most respected names in international fencing. For these young athletes, meeting and working with Oleg is far more than a camp highlight. It is inspiration, motivation, and a reminder that there is still a future worth fighting for.
Oleg is also Ukrainian and have been national coach in Japan 2003-2020. Now he is headcoach in Singapur.
This camp is non Profit!
At the camp, they will experience a professional and supportive environment where they can train, recover mentally, and simply be young athletes again. In times like these, sport can become more than sport. It can create strength, stability, and hope.
Your support will help cover:
travel from Ukraine to Germany
accommodation and meals
participation in Fencing Lifestyle Camp 2026
