Hoy quiero pedirles su apoyo para una familia que realmente lo necesita. El día de ayer, el esposo de una amiga fue detenido por ICE mientras estaba trabajando. Él era la cabeza de esta familia y, de un momento a otro, ella se quedó sola enfrentando esta situación con sus tres pequeños hijos. Su hijo mayor tiene autismo, también tienen una niña pequeña de 2 años y una bebé de apenas una semana de nacida. Imagínense estar recuperándose de dar a luz y, al mismo tiempo, tener que enfrentar una situación tan difícil e incierta. Él no tiene antecedentes penales. Es un hombre trabajador, un esposo y padre de familia que siempre ha luchado por sacar adelante a los suyos. Hoy, esta familia necesita de nuestra ayuda para poder enfrentar esta situación y cubrir sus gastos familiares y legales. Cualquier aportación, sin importar la cantidad, será de gran ayuda. Today, I’m asking for your support for a family that truly needs it. Yesterday, a friend’s husband was detained by ICE while he was at work. He was the head of the household, and in an instant, his wife was left to face this difficult situation alone with their three young children.

Their oldest son has autism. They also have a two-year-old daughter and a newborn baby who is only one week old. Imagine recovering from childbirth while having to face something so heartbreaking and uncertain at the same time. He has no criminal record. He is a hardworking man, a devoted husband, and a loving father who has always done everything he could to provide for his family.
