Snowdon Charity Walk for SFC Foundation
The Sri Lankan Family Charity Foundation is primarily funded by, and run by, members of Surrey Fitness Club.
Surrey Fitness Club members were keen to support and encourage the Sri Lankan Family Charity Foundation, and decided to organise the Snowdon Charity Walk as a fundraising initiative.
Fifteen of us have completed our mission of climbing to the summit of Mount Snowdon on Sunday 1st May as planned, under precarious weather conditions. Incessant driving rain, wind chill factor of -2 degree Celsius and treacherous slippery rocks with what looks like a never-ending uphill climb did not stop us achieving our aim of getting to the top. I would really appreciate if you could share or donate whatever amount you can to this GoFundMe campaign Snowdon Charity Walk for SFC Foundation. Every penny collected will be used to transform the educational environment of underprivileged pupils in Mullaitivu, a rural area which lacks basic facilities for both students and staff.
SFC Foundation is a registered charity, if you are a UK tax payer, please tick for gift aid ( will increase amount you donated)
Note: If you do not wish to give a Tip, please enter the Tip amount to 0% by moving the sliding bar while making the payment.
All proceeds from the Snowdon Charity Walk will be used to transform the educational environment of underprivileged pupils in Mullaitivu, a rural area which lacks basic facilities for both students and staff.
Following individuals have kindly volunteered to participate in our Snowdon fundraiser walk:
Andy Vytheeswaran (Babu), Kunaratnam Rahulotchanan(Rahu),
Kanakarajasingam Rasavathanan (Raj), Nina Thambinuthu, Rasarethenam Santhirakumar(Chandru), Velanantham Murugesu(Vel),
Jothiga Rahulotchanan, Jesuthasan George, Kumudhini Sri Pathmanathan, Shanmuganathan Suthaharan (Sutha), Kumarasamy Thasarathakumar (Kumar) Rasarethenam Varathan, Mohan Sivarajah, Natalie George and another one volunteer .
The main objective of the Sri Lankan Family Charity Foundation is to provide relief to overcome poverty, and for the advancement of education, for people living in rural areas within Sri Lanka. Particularly, but not exclusively, they are victims of the civil war and of natural disasters. The Sri Lankan Family Charity Foundation provides support with basic food, medical, and educational needs.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
