Dad’s Fight Against Cancer

Hello! My name is Katie and I’m reaching out to all of you on behalf of my parents, Bruce and Kim. Bruce has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He is currently in the process of visiting several doctors and will start his radiation treatment within the next week for 5 days a week for approximately 7 weeks. Dad will also require surgery to have a feeding tube put in. It will be a long road ahead for him as well as my mom who will be his full time caregiver. With all of this, Dad will be out of work for a good while and they will be losing a large source of income. As their Daughter, I feel the need to help them in anyway possible. They will need help with copays, Doctor bills, and prescriptions, along with your every day needs and essentials. My parents have always been the most caring and giving people you could ever meet in your life and even if they don’t really have it..they will give what they do have. So I’m coming to you all in hopes that I can it least help them make this process just a little bit easier and they can focus on Dad and his fight against cancer.
