I've been in the hospital since July 6, 2015. CDiff hit hard and showed no mercy. We were in debt before, and now with needing helping from grandparents, airfare, medications, and three experimental fecal transplants the bills are starting to roll in. 

We filed for debt consolidation and hope to settle for much less than we owe, but hate to go that route. 

We have appreciated your meals, your gifts, and your support- we couldn't ask for a better, more supportive community...but this one has knocked the wind out of us. 

We just need some breathing room. Maybe give the kids a small summer vacation trip nearby if my health allows. Act like NORMAL humans for once. 

I' m beyond thankful for all we have. We've been lucky enough to take a few Disney trips, enjoy family, and continue to pay the bills. But I fear a month in the hospital could change the norm for good.
