Help V. Gurniak's toddler&wife

One week ago, Viktor Gurniak tweeted: “With tears in my eyes... Most of all, I want to believe that we remember heroism of those who sacrificed their lives for you and me...”

Let us honor the heroism of Viktor himself who was killed today while helping those injured in the anti-terrorist operation zone of Lugansk Region.

Viktor was one of the most talented Ukrainian photographers and an active participant of the Ukrainian National Scout Organization of Ukraine PLAST.  He had a sharp mind, sharing his amazing pictures with the world.  They were published by numerous organizations including UNIAN, Reuters, an online version of INSIDER and LUFA, the Ukrainian photo agency that he cofounded. Many of us who are abroad saw Maidan through the lens of his camera.

He was truly devoted to the idea of the independent Ukrainian nation and its promising future and had been volunteering in the anti-terrorist operation zone for months.

Viktor was 27 years old and left behind a toddler daughter and a wife.

Let us unite in helping the family of this Hero who sacrificed his life for us...

Note about myself:
my name is Anastasiya Prymovych and I am Ukrainian from Lviv. After graduating from Harvard University in 2013, I moved to Houston to work for an oil consulting Company. I personally knew Viktor. My sister and brother-in-law  Vitaliy Hrabar  - who live in Lviv yet - were close friends with Viktor and have very strong connections with his wife Ira Gurniak and his daugther. Viktor, Vitaliy Hrabar and Olga Prymovych are among cofounders of LUFA, the Ukrainian photoagency (as can be evidenced here: http://lufa.com.ua/en/microposts?country_id=1). The funds will go towards education and supporting an appropriate level of life of Viktor's daugther and wife.  After money are transferred to my account, I will make a direct international transfer to Ira Gurniak and publish banking documents on  GOFUNDME webpage.
