Fundraiser to benefit the family of Phil Machlin
Donativo protegido
Family and friends of Phil Machlin z"l were shocked by the suddenness of his passing. How could someone so full of life, so loved and relied upon by so many be gone? Phil gave so much of himself yet asked for little in return. At the end that was a detriment to the family left behind. He never said "no" to family or friends and this giving personality trickled down to his law practice. He would help anyone whether they had the funds to pay him or not.
Phil was still a young man with much to live for. He had two sons who meant the world to him. Unfortunately living week to week left little behind for his boys. We are trying to raise money so that his boys can pay the simplest of bills left behind including the cost of their father's funeral.
Won't you please help by sending a donation in his memory? No amount is too small. The money raised will be used to cover Phil's funeral expenses and the cost to put up a matzaiva (grave stone monument). There are 2 ways to donate:
1. The GoFundMe page.
2. Write a check payable to. Congregation Ohav Emeth. Please be sure to write "Rabbi's Charity Fund in memory of Phil Machlin" in the memo section.
May Phil's memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
