Update: What we have collected so far has taken care of the funeral services, his urn & his tree, We are so humbled and appreciate of everyones generocity. The hope was to be able to help with the cost of his cremation, pay for some of his family to make it here for services and Put some in a CD for his son Gabriel. Any further financial assistance would be greatfully accepted. Please pray for those traveling to NW Indiana from all over the country to be here to pay final repects on Friday from 3-6 in Hebron@ Geisens funeral home.
It is with great sadness that I am requesting help to have a funeral for Michael Devin Hatfield.
Devin was one of my sons. I didnt meet him till he was 13. He came into our life due to family struggles at home, and I have been Momma Shel ever since. He was full of talent, knowledge and witt. His eyes were as loving and kind as his soul.
We got word Tuesday that Devin had passed away. There had been some confussion as to what the arrangments would be, but agreements have been made. He will be cremated and I will be picking him up next week. We want to have a service for him next week in Hebron Indiana. This is what Devin would have wanted.
However, we are needing to ask for help financially to get that done. Devin had 7 biological siblings and 7 'foster' siblings. Some of them would really like to come home for his celebration of life. There are also coats for the cremation, the urn, and the memorial service.
