On January 19th, 2018 we lost an amazing and beautiful woman, Stephanie Kutzke. Stephanie was my sister-in-law and she was on vacation in Jamaica with her husband, Dave, when she passed away unexpectedly at a hospital in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She was only 47 years old. As soon as we received the news, my husband (Stephanie's brother), Calvin, made arrangements to fly to Jamaica to be with Dave and support him during this very difficult time.
Stephanie was a very warm and generous person who loved to travel and enjoy life to the fullest. Stephanie looked forward to traveling with her husband, Dave, to a warm tropical island every year. She adored her dog, Lexi, and was an avid Brett Favre fan. She was loved by many, many people and she will be missed greatly.
As many of you probably know, medical and funeral expenses can be substaintial in any situation, and with the additional amount of the hospital bill with being out of the country, Calvin and Dave staying in Jamaica until Stephanie can be brought home, and bringing Stephanie back home to the US the expense is even greater.
I have decided to start this campaign to raise funds in order to take some of this extra burden off of Dave and Calvin. Losing Stephanie under such sudden and tragic circumstances has been very difficult for our family, and my hope is that this gives them one less thing to worry about.
