Funeral costs, future costs

My name is Katy Steed. My husband Zach and Peyton have been friends since their first duty station at Luke AFB in 2007. We’ve been blessed to have Peyton as part of our “framily” through many, many years. This loss leaves a void in our hearts that will never be replaced.

In life, especially in military life, you meet people who become family. You laugh, you cry, you fight but you always love each other. And yesterday, our framily lost one of our own. It is with such deep, great sadness that we share the news of losing Peyton Dorsey

Please keep Milena and the boys, his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. For those who have reached out to Milena, please know she is reading and listening to every message. But please allow some grace and understanding that she may not respond immediately as her focus right now is navigating her own grief along with their boys’.

in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to help towards funeral expenses. Anything left over will go directly to help with future household costs, sports fees, and unforeseen costs that arise during these situations. I will update everyone when arrangements are made.
