On Sunday morning, my sister Tasha experienced what no girlfriend and mother should ever experience. She arrived home from work to find the bodies of her boyfriend of three years and their 4 month old daughter Makenzie. Miles was a loving father, and a good man to Tasha. He encouraged her to continue her education, and provided support when she didn't believe in her self. He always treated Tashas first born daughter Aubree like she was his own, loved her and treated her like his family. Makenzie was the sweetest baby, and although her time was short, she was loved by all who met her. She was a light for everyone from the moment she was born, to her NICU stay, and every moment after.
   The Deuse & Moore/Hermis family have decided to plan a joint funeral. Arrangements have not been made yet. We thank you for the condolences we have recieved so far. Any funds raised will go directly to funeral costs.
