On Friday 24 July, Raven collapsed unexpectedly after a sparring session on Denmark. Emergency services were called immediately, and she was airlifted to an overseas hospital. She was diagnosed with a brain hematoma and cerebral edema.

Raven underwent emergency surgery right away. The procedure successfully stemmed the bleeding and helped stabilise the swelling. She was kept in a medically induced coma that she has now in the past day been taken of the sedatives and is currently still receiving treatment whilst awaiting medical supervised repatriation to a hospital in the uk where she her rehabilitation is expected to take some time.

This fundraising page has been set up by Rowena Banerjea, a friend of Raven Chapman and her family, with the support of Raven's family. The donated funds will be spent on Raven's repatriation to the UK and ongoing rehabilitation. The donated funds will be managed by Raven's mum, Eleanor Wood, who is organising her medical repatriation to a UK hospital.
