Funds for Sandra’s Home Hospice Care

We are trying to raise money to help with finances so that I can take time off while taking are of my mother who has entered pallative hospice care at home. After a two year battle with cancer, we have stopped treatment and are focusing on making mom comfortable at home.

My employers have been very understanding with allowing me to work from Florida so that I can help mom and dad in their home in florida. This is so that we can make sure she can be comfortable in her own home with round the clock care, instead of moving into a hospice facility. But as time goes on, it has become more difficult to both work and care for mom as her needs are becoming more severe and require more round the clock effort.

It has been a long battle since mom was first diagnosed in 2022. She has been through chemotherapy and clinical trials to try and conquer this battle. But as of June 3rd, after many discussions with dr’s, it has been decided that letting mom rest at home is more important that fighting a battle that cannot be won.
