Funds for Mickey Malhi's Funeral

Gurpreet “Mickey” Singh Malhi passed away on Dec. 21, 2017, after suffering a long and tough two-month battle with pancreatitis. He was only 32 years old and is survived by his parents and younger brother.
Mickey was a light in everyone’s lives and brought joy to everyone he met. His personality was such that if you needed a shirt, he would literally give you the one right off of his back. Anecdotes from family and friends especially can give you a glimpse into his pure heart. There are two stories that are small, but I think are great examples of who Mickey, was his time working in retail.
If one of his customer’s was short by a dollar or didn’t have enough money, he would take whatever the difference was out of his pocket and give it to them
Another is at a bhangra competition he was attending a few years ago: Mickey noticed that a random guy was trying to get something out of a vending machine and his dollar wouldn’t take. He’d never met this person before, but he took out his own dollar and used it in the machine for him. That’s the kind of person he was: a giving soul, without ever expecting anything in return.
Everyone knows that the cost of care in America and funeral costs can be really burdensome on a family, so we’re asking for anyone to help with anything that they can.
